Welcome. Calatine is part of a large family property, nestled in the countryside that dates back to 1472. It is now a comfortable retreat for family and friends.

Benvenuti. Calatine risale al 1472, si trova all'interno di una azienda agricola ed e' immerso nella campagna. E'un rifugio confortevole per le famiglie e gli amici.

 

Located in one of the most 'striking and typical landscape of Siena, the Crete Senesi’ is the house called "Calatine." Built during the 15^th century as a typical farm complex housing several generations.

Surrounded by beautiful hills, the villa offers the possibility 'of a stay in complete tranquility' in communion with nature.  The land around Calatine is set into the rolling hills and is for the exclusive use of guests.  There is a sheltered dining terrace for dining al fresco and a sunny pool.

The décor is comprised of family pieces and hand-decorated furniture which enhances the spaces, recreating the atmosphere evocative of the past and of the country farmhouses typical to the Crete Senesi.

 

The compound easily accommodates couples and small families.  It is best rented as an entirety, though the 3 separate complete apartments provide privacy for everyone. 

 

In una delle zone piu' suggestive e tipiche del paesaggio senese, quello delle Crete Senesi si trova il casolare denominato "Calatine" di  origine Quattro-Cinquecentesca. Circondato da splendide colline, il casolare offre la possibilita' di un soggiorno in piena tranquillita' in mezzo alla natura incontaminata .L' ampio spazio esterno al casolare, autonomo ed a esclusivo utilizzo degli ospiti, consente di mangiare all'aperto, nella terrazza antistante al casolare .

 cucina con balcone, soggiorno con caminetto e divano letto matrimoniale. Riscaldamento autonomo.

“Il Granaio”  This apartment sleeps 4 to 5: 1 double bedroom including 1 single child’s bed. 1 double bedroom + 1 cot, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 kitchen.

Appartamento in "IL GRANAIO" 5 posti letto : 1 camera matrimoniale + 1 letto singolo + 1 culla. 1 camera matrimoniale +  1 culla , 1 bagno con doccia , 1 cucina. Riscaldamento autonomo.

Cucina e tavolo per 10 persone.
